ok, for the past few days the internet connection here sucks due to the Earth Quake which strike Taiwan.... and talking about tat, it make me worried cause my friend is currently in Taiwan and hope he is alrite.... anyway, last thursday actually went to Woodgrove secondary school and teach the student leader how to do line dancing and hell yea, we have a lot of fun! was happy to hear that they actually enjoy my dance lesson? wakaka.... yea we dance from 10am to 2 pm with a lil break in the middle... i thought them how to do the swivel dance, texas rodeo dance, rookie rock dance and the swaving line dance.... wanted to teach the Atomik Polka dance but then its a bit complicate.... and on the first day of their sch, i have to teach 315 sec one student!!! can u imagine tat? me on stage with Mic and talking and teaching the SEC 1 to dance??? gosh... feel like backing out but what the hell... i enjoy doing dance so.... i think i shud go for it..... yeapp! hmm.... what else shud i blog? any idea? anyway i really miss my secondary school friends, not to mention hanging with Sham, Kurniawan, Huzainie, Ghup, Nicholas, Zul, and most of the NCC and Girl guides members... hahaz.... haiz.... really miss those days....and hearing tat mr mohammad is leaving nvss, its a sad thing... i mean, i know many ppl may hate him, but he is the best i can say, he may be fierce and strict, but deep down, he is actually friendly and kind..... yea.... gonna miss he too..... well.. tats all for now..

Yay, yesterday watch the Flyboyz with Sham, Wan and Rul... hahaz, I knw, this is the Second time i watch and well... i dun mind watching it for the 3rd time, it's really a nice movie. We live in singapura... enjoy... hahaz... hilarious...

Yepp... it's me... i'm back from Australia guyz! yippee.... anyway, i like the temperature in australia.... it's so cold, unlike singapore mate! hahaz, gosh i'm beginning to talk like an austrlian... wakaka... anyway, australia is so dry not humid like in singapore.... i prefer humid not dry.... hahaz... Well, australia trip is cool and fun, i like the australian way of life... anyway, 5 of us under the aeromodelling unit get selected for the trip and together with other 6 from ppl... and i tell you, this is the FIRST time the cca get so closed with the PPL.... u see, usually we have this mindset saying, if u r PPL, u r in PPl and if u r in Aeromodelling, u r in aeromodelling.... we dun get along.... but this time is different... way different.... this time we even have party together... hahaz, that's a great thing! and make friends with them.... we exchange our own experience in syfc... yea... anyway, my friends have not yet upload all the photo so i won't blog abt wat i do in australia till i get the photo.... okie now... i gtg....

Gosh, really... i look SUX in the camera! hahaz, anyway today was the shooting for the new kids Show called 'Mini Bas' and hell, all the kids there are so CUTE and yea i got a GROUP hug from them, awww.... i feel so happy when they give me the group hug! well wadya expect, they only 6 years old u knw and really cute! i remember all their name, Ain, Haziqah, Fitri, Daniel, Arman and Amirah... hahaz... yea only 6 toddlers... LOL... the producer Pat, she is so damn friendly and hahaz the director, he is so cool with me and the kids... lol, his name is Uncle Dzul while the rest call me Abang Zul (ITS LIKE FINALLY I OWN A TITLE!) lol.... then we have fun playing and building planes and all of the kids enjoy it but like i say, i look SUX in the camere and therefore i'm not gonna watch th episod that i'm in! LOL.... and dun bother asking me when will it be shown cause i will NEVER tell anyone when it will be aired! hahaz, and one more thing, didn't know that acting can be so tiring.... hahaz.... well i think that's all for now! byez!!!

The fast is for Me and I am its reward [Hadith Qudsi]

O you who believe! Fasting is prescribed upon you as it was prescribed on those before you so that you may learn self-restraint [2:183]

Why Fasting is Mandatory

The glorious verse above clarifies why Muslims are required to fast. Allah neither wishes to punish His subjects nor starve them because neither of these benefits Him. Further examination of this verse reveals that fasting builds righteousness and humility.

The Wisdom Behind Fasting

Cultivation of righteousness and humility is the wisdom behind fasting. A Companion once asked Hadrat Ibn Ka’ab the meaning of righteousness (taqwa), and in reply Hadrat Ibn Ka’ab asked, “Have you ever walked a dangerous and thorny path?” The questioner said yes. Then, Hadrat Ibn Ka’ab asked him how he would traverse such a path. The Companion answered, “I gather all my loose clothing around me and hold it tight so that nothing gets entangled or torn, and thus I walk very carefully.” Hadrat Ibn Ka’ab answered that this is the very definition of righteousness, to protect oneself at every moment in life so one does not slip and fall into sin.

Fasting in Ramadan is one means to protect oneself and keep oneself righteous. Fasting is not merely abstinence from food and drink, but all the organs of the body must be in a state of fasting. The fast of the eyes is not to look at what is forbidden; the fast of the tongue is not to lie and slander and likewise, every organ must stay away from wrong. A Muslim in Ramadan must be in a state of fasting from head to toe.

The Pinnacle of Fasting

The pinnacle of a fast is not realized until a Muslim fasts from head to toe. A person might abstain from food and drink, but during the course of the day or month, he slanders someone else or even steals from someone. This is why the Messenger of Allah said that some people gain nothing from fasting but hunger.

Etiquette of Fasting

There are different types of fasts and each requires certain etiquette. One type is the fast of the common people that is to simply abstain from food and drink. Another type of fasting, observed by a special class of people closer to Allah, requires abstinence not only from food and drink, but also requires keeping the organs away from anything that is sinful, such as controlling the tongue from backbiting and slander.

It is obvious that Muslims must always strive for the second type of fasting and be in a complete state of fasting.

Hunger and Thirst

Fasting serves to build righteousness and elevates the righteous even higher. Consequently, those who obey Allah and abstain from sin during their fasts do not feel the intensity of hunger and thirst during the day as do those who unfortunately fail to stay away from sin.

Abstaining from Backbiting

Throughout the Prophet’s lifetime, Allah presented circumstances and examples to serve as lessons for the Muslims to follow.

Two women were fasting and came near to death because of sheer hunger. This problem was presented before the Messenger of Allah who advised that the women should rinse their mouth, which they did. Thereafter, the women vomited small pieces of meat. These women were astonished because they had not eaten anything because they were fasting. The Messenger of Allah revealed that the women had been guilty of backbiting during their fast, a sin synonymous with eating dead flesh. Allah preserved this incident in time so that future generations may learn a lesson from it.

A Shield for Faith

In the event that someone who is fasting encounters someone quarrelsome or one who would lead them down a bad path, the fasting individual should say the words “I am fasting” three times. This will serve as a shield for safeguarding his faith and the fast will inshaAllah be regarded as a successful one by Allah.

Various Purposes of Fasting

Fasting has been ordained to cultivate righteousness in mankind. A child may want candy, but knowing its harmful effect a mother will refuse to indulge the child, not because she wishes to see her child cry but for the child’s own good. Likewise, Allah does not wish suffering upon those who fast, but ordains it so that they may become righteous and pure. The command of fasting does not benefit or take away from the glory of Allah but is only for the benefit of those who fast.

Fasting and Medical Proof

Fasting not only has spiritual benefits but it also has immense physical benefits as well. The medical community acknowledges that regular fasting flushes poison from the body, thus purifying it.

The bathrooms in the luxurious homes of certain wealthy individuals alone cost more than the entire home of a poor family. If it were not for the holy month of Ramadan, such wealthy people would be oblivious to the suffering of the poor and hungry. By ordaining the fast, Allah blessed mankind in that at the end of a day without food and drink, one can perhaps gain some insight into the daily life of the homeless and hungry.

Tending to Neighbors and the Sick

Hadith literature records that a man shall be raised on the Day of Judgment and Allah will say, “I was hungry. Yet, you did not feed Me. I was sick but you did not visit Me.”

The man will say in astonishment, “O Allah, You are the Supreme Creator above all such needs and ailments such as hunger and sickness. How could I have fed you or visited you?”

Then, Allah will say, “Back in the world, your neighbor at one time was hungry and sick but you failed to tend for him. If you had fed him and looked after him in his time of need, it would have been as if you were feeding Me.”

It will only be then that this man will realize the tremendous reward of empathy towards his fellow human beings. Today the worst feuds occur between neighbors because people remain ignorant of the rights of neighbors. At one time the Messenger of Allah said that Hadrat Jibril e used to bring so many revelations regarding the rights of neighbors that the Messenger of Allah thought that the neighbor would be included in the last will and testament of the deceased.

A Strange Turn of Events

Two brothers were very fond of each other but their wives did not get along. One of them invited his brother and sister-in-law to dinner and laid the table in front of them. However, when the host’s wife found out she angrily took the plate from in front of her brother-in-law and said, “We are not feeding this man!”

This woman’s saddened but quick thinking husband tried to salvage the situation and said to his brother, “Once I too was at your house and you placed food in front of me. One of your chickens ran across the room and tipped the curry. Hence I could not enjoy the meal. I could have been angry at that time but controlled myself, so please do not be angry now if my wife hastily took away the plate.”

His brother calmed down and said, “Surely I can extend you the same courtesy that you showed for my chicken.” Hence, a potentially dangerous situation was defused very quickly because of the brothers’ love and pure intentions towards each other. In contrast, if parties have bad intentions from the start, then it is easy for minor quarrels to become long term feuds.

Good Character

It has been narrated in hadith that the Messenger of Allah came to teach humanity to humanity. Among the lessons of good character that the Messenger of Allah brought is good will and etiquette towards one’s neighbor. This is something that has been relatively forgotten nowadays.

Living as brothers and sisters and as neighbors has become virtually alien to us, but we need to remember that neighbors are merely a mirror image of ourselves.

The True Purpose of Fasting

The true purpose of fasting is to value the tremendous blessings of Allah and realize that a large percentage of people in the world do not have what we take for granted every day. Hopefully a person will carry this realization throughout his or her life and become a better person and member of the community.

People rarely ponder upon the blessings of Allah that they are showered with every single day. Before wheat bread is served for a meal, a seed is sown into the ground. This seed is then nourished by the sun and the rain before it grows big enough that a farmer can reap it. The wheat is then cleaned and sold in the market where it is bought and cooked as wheat bread. Indeed, it is unfortunate that people do not ponder upon these miraculous events that bring this food to their table nor do they thank Allah for this blessing.

A Fascinating Tale

Hadrat Fazal Ali Quraishi (May the mercy of Allah be upon him) would plough, sow, and reap his own fields. He would bring the harvest home where both he and his wife would prepare the wheat to be cooked and made into bread. The bread would then be served to the students in Hadrat’s madrasa.

Hadrat Quraishi had a strong work ethic and insisted on doing everything himself. As part of his noble habit, he was constantly in a state of ablution, as was his household. One day, Hadrat served the meal as usual in the madrasa and the seekers sat down to eat. Hadrat used to address his seekers as faqir, and so he said, “Oh Faqirs, for the bread that is before you, a field had to be ploughed and this was done in a state of wudu (ritual purity). Next, a seed was sown and cultivated, all in a state of wudu. The wheat was then reaped, cleaned and cooked, all in a state of wudu. Now that it is before you, my only hope is that you eat it in a state of wudu.”

Etiquette of the Meal

Every morsel that a person consumes comes through many different routes as detailed above. Allah likes the person who respects and values His blessings.

The Messenger of Allah used to eat with great humility, giving food proper respect. He would not eat like the arrogant who eat while walking and slouching. He would sit down for a meal with the humility of a servant in front of his master, and would value every morsel as a blessing from Allah.

Warning Signs For the Wise

A millionaire once posted an advertisement in a newspaper promising a huge sum of money to the doctor who could treat his illness so that he would be able to eat a bite on his own. This person was a millionaire with apparently every material thing at his disposal. Yet, health was not on his side to the extent that he could not even eat by himself.

Being healthy enough to sit up and eat is a tremendous blessing on its own that people take for granted. We need to realize the greatness of these blessings and to be grateful to Allah.

A Story From Hadrat Sulayman’s Life e

Allah had given Hadrat Sulayman e kingship over humankind, jinn, the animal kingdom and all the forces of nature. One day, Hadrat Sulayman e supplicated to Allah that he wanted to invite all creation to a feast and wanted no food to go to waste. Allah readily permitted this and so Hadrat Sulayman e commanded the jinn to start preparing the food for such a feast.

The jinn toiled at giant cauldrons for years and kept storing the food until such a day that Hadrat Sulayman e became satisfied that there was enough food for all of Allah’s creation. Then, he once again requested permission to invite the guests and Allah gave him permission for this. Hadrat Sulayman e asked whether he should invite the land creation first or the creatures of the sea, and Allah suggested the sea creatures since the sea was very close by.

A fish swam up and opened its mouth, into which the jinn started emptying the food. This fish was so large that it alone consumed everything that had been cooked. Allah’s creation is so awesome that it baffles the imagination.

Certain fish are so large that airplanes have been reported to have mistaken them for airstrips and actually attempted landings. Once, I was flying from France to another country and as the airplane rose and crossed over water, I saw a fish swimming thousands of feet below that seemed the size of a car. I marveled at what the actual size of the fish must be if it appeared as big as a car from such a height.

So the fish that the jinn were feeding still had its mouth open even though the jinn had fed it the entire feast. Hadrat Sulayman e was amazed and exclaimed to the fish, “You ate so much!” To this, the fish replied, “O Beloved of Allah, I bear witness that Allah feeds me every day three times what you have fed me today!”

Distribution of Sustenance (Rizq)

Allah does not forget to provide for humankind despite the millions of other species that make up creation. Hence people should be grateful rather than complain when given such food that may be distasteful, because Allah could have easily overlooked such a tiny portion of creation such as humankind in the distribution of sustenance (rizq). The purpose of Ramadan is to develop gratefulness for Allah’sblessings so that man may become humble and righteous.

Nvyfc get cockup when zuls is not around... Hmmm i wonder how true is this sentence... i mean, do things really get cockup when i'm not around? Can't they just be independent and work on their own instead of me getting the ball rolling? hey i'm an instructor, not a chairperson anymore... i'm there to teach u guys flying and some foot drills or maybe lecture but not organising some stuff or even worst, do the duty roster for u guys?? wat the heck? i dun really like firdaus to be the chairperson for NVYFC.... i prefer diana... Firdaus is just slow minded and always depend on others... Even the smallest problem he could not solve it.... i wonder how NVYFC going to survive without me.... cause hey, i got serangoon and woodgrove to handle too... and now i need to set up my priorities right.... must i be strict? must i make the junior to hate me so that i have no favouritism??? damn... this is stressful.... stressfull for a guy who like to smile and joke around.... dun u find it weird? imagine, today u see me smile and next day u knw i'm bloody strict and sellfish? is like i'm having 2 personalities and that is just not right.... Aeromodelling was rather fun and interesting just now. hmmm i'm glad to see alot of improvement from my junior especially Shafiq and hong zheng, i think they will definately enter the Inter school aero comp. and represent North View.... Last year we got 4th and we trying hard to get in the top 3 SCHOOL LISTING this year... its the school listing that we care for, not individual position... and yes, in SYFC, most of the time i do volunteering work! i dun get paid when i go North view other day except for Friday... i just feel like helping... helping them sincerely, well i not only help yfc, also help NCC aero unit only, again like i say, i am willing to help anyone, regardless of any race, language, religion or club association, as long as they have the interest in aviation, i'll be glad to help them and share some of my 2 cents knowledge....well i think thats all for now...

Damn, i am bored, i hate sunday... there's nothing for me to do at all.... hmmm feel like going out but can't! for the moment i have no cents at all... cause u knw why? my dad transfer money into the wrong acct. he transfer to his personal bank acct. then transfering it in my acct. damn and now have to wait till tuesday till i get the money! argh, leaving in singapore without any cent can kill you! yea, anyway, i still hate those bloody homophobic in singapore! they are just bloody rude! so what if they are gay or bisexual or lesbian??? pls la, they are just human with diffent type of concept! no need to feel disgusted or something like that, its just a lifestyle! being homophobic is the same as being racist! for god sake, singapore is a racial and harmony country! so pls treat them equally!. anyway i gonna re-renovate my room before hari raya, guess what, i'm gonna renovate it on my own, without even calling any construction worker or some technician to do the lighting. I'll be doing it all on my own! and i hope i dun do the wiring for my lighting wrong or else the whole building will get black out... wakakakaa... my room this year will be in 2 shaded tone, dark green and light green.... i do on computer simulation and damn it is so nice....can't wait to get some money to renovate my room... This song was made by German girl named Joy Gruttman who wrote and recorded a song called 'Snappy the little crocodile' which was posted to her family's web site. yay, today was a fun day for me indeed, went to North View and thought the NCC some aeromodelling just for volunteering work. It's fun teaching the ncc and i'm certainly not saying teaching YFC is boring but somehow while teaching the ncc, i kinda feel happy and cheer up, Why? gosh, cause most of my close friends are from there... lol... i knw SYFC should nt teach ncc or some sorta thing but when i'm teaching NCC, it has nth to do with SYFC cause i'm just sharing my knowledge and helping out those who are keen in aeromodelling, my policy is simple, i'm willing to teach ANYONE who are interested in aeromodelling as long as they enjoy it and also practice the safety rules and regulation that have been set up by SYFC at ALL TIMES! and today thought some part 'A's to start the engine and fly. Gosh amirul got the potential to fly and i am proud of him! and also izzat and the other chinese guy whom i have forgotten his name. LOL...after aeromodelling, stay back for awhile and see ghupz and company practice their PDS for the Upcoming event which will be held at Toa Payoh HDB Hub.... here are some picture....

after their PDS, went to North Point with Ghup and but some stuff for aeromodelling, and guess what, Ghup and i is opening up a business soon... LOL... still under discusion and u will know it sooner or later..... after buying things, we went to Time Zone and meet shu kai and company. i know, i'm nt the type of guy who love to go arcade but Ghup insist me on going there with him although i'm dead tired after 2 days of not sleeping! went there and ghup love to play the ghost squad, and damn he is good in it.... no i didn't play with him but by looking the way he play it... lol....


after that i straight went home chasing after my bed cause i was too damn tired. slept from 3pm till now... lol.... tats all

hahaz, wow when was i last updated my blog? hmmm sorry guys, been busy enjoying life till i forgot on updating my blog... Damn, i am totally broke,with no transportation money and money to eat, how on earth am i suppose to survive? i hope my cheque payment will be out by this friday or else i gonna starve my self! damn finance, holding up my cheque! Anyway, i am still tired from National Camp. This year National Camp is totally sux! Sux to da core. The ncc is not well organised, like i say, i somehow prefer the 2004 national camp which was conducted by the NPCC. its so much more organised and FUN! anyway, 2008 national camp will be conducted by NPCC and damn i am looking forward to it! and guess wat, Mr wong and Yap think i deserve Senior Pilot Rank! and hell yea i do deserve that rank and hoping Mr beber willl give me sooner or later! well i work with all my sweat and i sure do deserve a reward rite? if to ask for my payment to increase, that will surely be impossible therefore maybe i try ask for promotion to SP rank and i hope i get it!. i think tat is all for now... blogging soon.... lol...

Damn, i am so sick... really, sick as in physically sick... got a fever and yet have to go down to North View for the NDP rehearsal and i tell you, i was damn strict to the NVYFC just now... its like the first time i gave no mercy to them... hmmm.... then after rehearsal, hang out with ncc guys at their ops room with Ghup, Zul, Shoo kai, Ayam, Michelle and Dickhead... oh ya, haikal too.... hang around till 6.30 then off to LJS with Nick for dinner.... lol... after that went home straight cause my head is so pain like as if been hit by a truck! luckily nvr faint... then now i'm blogging.... haiz, tmr got another National Camp rehearsal and need to go 3 different place in 1 day. hMMM first off to North View, for NDP parade.... then off to SYFC to collect syfc flag, then Off to SISPEC for Rehearsal.... wah... if i got money i will take taxi here and there.... well i guess thats all for now... need to create news letter for NVYFC....

Today, was a totally bad day for me, dunno why but suddenly my mood all crash down to the drain... haiz, then today also got National Camp Rehearsal, so tired... and i hate to take the NCC van! so sux lor, its like as if the van have no suspension and trough out the journey from SISPEC gate to the jetty, the ride is so bloody Bumpy... haiz.... but make some new friends there, Yusra from GG, Violet and jane from GB, Zaki from NPCC, Lester from Scouts and Elizabeth from RCY. yupp those are all the Flag Party for National Camp 2006 this year.... this year held at Pasir Laba.... i still prefer the NPCC ubin camp site... much more convenient and also better.... hmmm haiz the more i blog the more i have no mood.... ending here... dying soon...

and this is Ass hole and Naughty! wakakakaz.... okiez, hmmm today syfc was kinda fun, fly my heli here and there, then teach the year one to fly solo and then by 3.45 all pack up cause need to participate in the NDP rehearsal... and yea...,. after that, let jia hui fly my heli and now damn, i think either my heli Xtal is damage or my 4 in 1 box is damage, it seems that i have a frequency glitch! well if the Xtal is damage, it will only cost me $26 but if the 4 in 1 box is damage, it will cost me $122! argh! and yea.... then after all cca is dismiss, went to burger king to have our dinner, walk there with Weijie, canise, chao teng, nicholas, amirul, athirah, dennise and one more guy whom i forgot his name! chao teng was dating with canise so we left them on their own... hahahahahaz....when reach BK, we purposely let chao teng and canise seat together! wakakak, then when canise buy her food, chao teng seat there alone! so ask him to go and buy the food, but he claim no money, so since he is dating, i treat him... wakakaka, i also treat amirul hahahaz.... then after that go window shopping with the 3 header and from there got my ZulFUCKli name.... wakakaka, Naughty was the tour guide! hahahaz, can u believe it that we need a tour guide to wonder around in NORTH POINT!!!hahahaz... we walk around for an hour then off home..... on the way home called someone... hahahaz, at that point of time, i am so happy hearing someone voice... wakaka... too bad that someone got flu so voice a bit different, kinda cute... wakakakaz..... talk til reach home.... then found out heli got a glitch... haiz, anyway i just can't wait for 31/7/06! wish it will be tmr.... anyway, thats all for now...

Okie, yea i'm back and here trying to talk about some homophobic in singapore! First thing first, is it wrong being a Homosexual ? well, for your information Homosexual have becoming popular in this round thing that we are living in.... the Earth! Homosexual is a life style and i dun see why most singaporean are so Anti about them, not trying to say i'm one of them but yes, i do have a lot of friends who are gays, bisex and lesbian.... i mean, i'm alright with them, they are not someone from outer space or from another world, afterall they are human being, like you and me. so i believe that they do deserve the same respect that we have! If you are trying to say that singapore don't allow gays in its country, then why on earth do the government allow to open up a gay pub in singapore for example the 'happy place' and 'why not' gay pub? for tourist attraction?? even the government have no objection on opening a gay forum like sgboy.com. Singapore only disallow of gay marriage cause singapore depend on the population to survive.... well, i hope singaporean change the mind set of Homophobic... if u get to know them better, you find it rather interesting... i am blogging this on behalve of all of my friends who have a bad experience in the public! like i say, they do deserve respect like you and me! well gotta go...chao...

Gosh! seriously, i need to set up a budget for my self! argh! i have been taking taxi to North View when everytime i got yfc! why i took taxi? answer is simple, i always overslept... damn it... wakakaka.... haiz and guess wat there was once i take taxi to NVSS and the driver drive like a F1 car! wakakak... seriously only cost me $6 when usually it will cost me $11 plus.... hahahaz, just imagine, the driver speed up to 15okm/h.... damn he is crazy, oh well but it was cool... hehe.... and guess what, every taxi i take to north view, all have the same interest like me.... wakakak aeromodelling.... Some say they were from Junior flying club, some from RSAF and some from Bukit batok aeromodelling club.... didn't knw alot of taxi drive have interest in aeromodelling.... LOL.... well today went to NVSS again.... by taking taxi again.. wakaka, today yfc is fun, there's something different abt today yfc but i just don get it wat.... its just different... LOL....then after flying and all, gone home with bazlee, shafiq and firdaus.... and guess wat... i'll be coming nvss again tmr.... hopefully i can wake up early so i can take MRT... lol.... not gonna waste my money on taxi again... lol....well.... i'm gonna bath now, body all so sticky... wakakaka... gonna update more after i bath.... i'm gonna create a topic regarding about homophobic in SINGAPORE.... lol... chao...
